We invite you to become a part of First Church’s Women’s Ministries. We offer bible study groups; a knitting/crochet prayer shawl group; book study groups; local and global mission groups; and program/action/fellowship groups. Below is information and scheduling about each ministry. This is an opportunity for you to get to know the women of the church and become involved with us in ministry. Join in!
Fellowship; local and global mission support; and action are important to all of these groups. Scroll down through the below for detailed information on meeting times and general focus of each of the following groups.
Women in Mission - United Methodist Women
Purpose: The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Fourth Sunday of Advent images have arrived on PensacolaFirstChurch.com—Merry Christmas!
Sanctuary Choir/Orchestra Christmas Concert images are available for viewing.
Church Members can now access their church records through our web site, initiate updates to their records, and view a church directory. Your church records must include an email address in order for you to be able to log in and be assigned a user name and password. Click on the link and look for AccessACS; this is a secure login.
If you have trouble gaining access then send Dixon Moseley an email and he will look up your record and see what the problem is. We probably have an incorrect email address for you or some other issue with your record. Once you can view your record if you need to make changes to the record—look for the little eraser icon at the top of the record page; click on that to take you to the Edit Mode. If you do not want your records to show up in the directory that other church members will have access to, let Dixon know that also and he can flag your records so they do not upload to the AccessACS web server.

Today we dedicated our choirs, worship arts groups and ourselves to the ministry of music!
At the 8:30 & 11:00 a.m. services the Kindergarten & First Grade Choir, the 2nd—5th Grade Choir, the Youth Choir, the Sanctuary Choir, the Handbell Choir and the Senior Adult Choir combined to sing and play. Members of all our choirs (not just those singing) and worship arts groups dedicated themselves to the ministry of music and worship of arts for the coming year.

Blue Lake is a Methodist camp about an hour and a half driving time from Pensacola. Every year we have a church wide retreat for fun, fellowship and to hear God's message from a guest speaker.
This is a wonderful opportunity for your family to meet members of our church and spend quality time with each other.
The children are split by age groups and sent off for their own spiritual growth.
Free time activities include swimming, softball, nature walks, pumpkin carving, apple bobbing, canoeing, napping, watching college football, board games, bond fire, tug-of-war, water balloons, lakeside mediations, singing and that just a start.
Our church photo online directory from Olan Mills is now available. A password is necessary, for security reasons, and it's available to members & friends through printed church publications. Please refrain from posting this password on personal web pages, blogs, etc.
